Benefit is a Brand i totally love and what’s most Fab about them is they offer shipping to nigeria on their site For a fee.
Their most raved about product in recent times is the porefessional which I heard is giving my rimmel stay matte powder a run for it’s packaging money.
LoL. Not efficiency money though.
In other primer news, you need to try the bioderma mattifying oil fluid with spf 30.
On to today’s post.
I got this benefit face cream as part of a skin care pack from Debenhams.
Another shop I really like because of their freebies some of which are full sized
They offer shipping to a number of countries but not nigeria although you can pay with your Nigerian card and have it sent to a uk address.
So this cream came in a small 15ml jar and it had this really plain packaging nothing fancy.
What benefit says about it is
Say good bye to dry skin and hello to total moisture.
This facial cream provides concentrated immediate
And long term hydration for a radiant and refreshed complexion
our exxluive tri radiance complex helps develop the skins reserves of water and reinfordes the moisture barrier
Contains mango butter a natural plant based emollient known to provide moisture.
Not specified if it’s day or night cream.
It’s a thick potion that spreads quite easily and applies well.
It’s completely absorbed and I used a bit of it at times and then a good quantity when my face was feeling particularly dry.
Benzoyl peroxide and retinol do that and this was good to cool the drying effects down.
This cream made my skin glow so much whn I used it I didn’t apply foundation or pressed powder.
It doesn’t control oil however and benefit didn’t say it would.
I did get oily after about four hours
The only thing I didn’t like is that it had no spf for the price it retails at.
Such a rich cream should have some spf to reduce the amount of product one ends up using.
I mixed in some spf with algae from Jack black which is a male skincare line and it went on really well.
They advise using a one step facial wash and moisture prep toning lotion before this.
All in all, I loved this cream and a little bottle is someting to keep on hand and use at night to indulge your skin once in a while.
At 42 dollars for 48 g on benefits site that may not be happening very often.
Asos does have a set of benefit products for about £20 or so and this cream is included with some eye cream and other products.
Also available on debenhams and that’s the deal.
Just a side note.
For oily skin a good moisturizer is natio young oil free moisturiser.
It doesnt have any special ingredients acne wise but it works for Those long haul dehydrating flights and daily use.
